In-office PrescriptionsWe dispense commonly prescribed medications at a low cost to our patients. Most patients undergoing sedation take advantage of this convenience. This service enables you to avoid the need of stopping at a pharmacy after your surgery. Comfort While You WaitWe offer a relaxed and safe environment, complete with a comfortable waiting area and Wi-Fi. Leaders in TechnologyWe are leaders in the field as we seek to advance the level of technology in our patient care when appropriate. We have been leaders in our community in bringing cone beam CT (CBCT) to our community. This technology allows us a detailed look at jaw structures with 3-D images that gives the doctor all of the information needed to better diagnose and treat your issue. With this technology, we are also able to reduce the radiation exposure to our patients when compared to conventional CT scans. We use only the highest quality dental implant and biological materials that are available. A Century of ExperienceOur doctors have over 110 years of combined experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Board Certified SpecialistsAll of our oral surgeons are Board Certified by the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons. Advanced Anesthesia CertificationsACLS (advanced cardiovascular life support) certified and maintain office anesthesia accreditation by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). Why Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS)Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are a specialized aspect of the dental field and are experts in the diagnosing and surgical treatment of disease, injury, and defects of the oral and maxillofacial region. This is specialized field involves many more years of education and training than that of general dentistry. In most cases, general dentists are not qualified to handle oral surgery, whereas oral and maxillofacial surgeons are experts at oral surgery and have years of additional training specifically for this purpose. Our doctors were trained in placing implants during their residency, while general dentists simply don't have as much training and practice in implants and oral surgery. |
